Issa is a native of Los Angeles. She studied photography at Art Center College in Pasadena before going on to work as a photojournalist for the Los Angeles Weekly. Her work appears in Wired, Smart Money, Wedding Bells and Los Angeles Magazines, among other publications. She is an award-winning photojournalist and is represented by SIPA Press.

Issa's introduction to wedding photography occurred when friends asked her to document their wedding day. Wedding photography proved to be a natural extension of Issa's interest in photojournalism. A photojournalistic photographer, she is also an inobtrusive and artistic wedding photographer.

Applying her training in photojournalism as a wedding photographer and using her artistic instincts, Issa creates extraordinary, evocative, wedding photographs.

She considers it a privilege to be a wedding photographer; to be allowed into this special occasion to capture the many intimate moments, using her skills to photograph, edit and present an album of memories to cherish.

Although Issa is primarily a Los Angeles wedding photographer, she is available for travel to photograph weddings outside of the Los Angeles area. She offers digital or film coverage in color, black and white and sepia.

Issa is also known for her distinctive CD covers. Her photojournalistic style and fine art approach have made her a much sought after wedding, portrait, corporate and event photographer. In 2001 she travelled to Budapest, Hungary to shoot production stills for "An American Rhapsody" (Paramount Classics). Her extraordinary photographs of Cuba and Hollywood were included in 3 retrospective shows of her work in Los Angeles in 2003 and 2004. Issa is a much sought after wedding, portrait,corporate and event photographer.
